Physiotherapy Treatment Options

At Legend, we believe in a hands on approach to your physiotherapy needs. We offer the following treatment options, in addition to our manual treatments:

Shock Wave Therapy

Shock Wave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that involves the creating of a series of low energy acoustic wave pulsations that are directly applied to an injury.   This type of therapy helps treats all type of injuries and ailments, from back pain, neck pain to plantar fasciitis

Laser Therapy

This treatment utilizes specific types of light to interact with damaged tissue to eliminate pain and promote healing for a variety of medical conditions such as rotator cuff tears, fibromyalgia, ligament and tendon tears, tendonitis, bursitis, rheumatoid arthritis and bulging and herniated discs.  Talk to our Legend Team to see if Laser Therapy is a good option for your treatment plan.

Dry Needling/IMS

A needling technique that stimulates and relaxes underlying myofascial trigger points which allows deeper penetration when manual stimulation will not work alone.

Rock Tape

Rock tape is applied to your skin for prolonged periods of time which, by lifting the skin and the structures below it, increases blood flow and healing while decreasing swelling and pain target.
